Last February 17, 2018, an Xiaomi authorized store finally happened in the northern part of the metro. Unfortunately, we did not have a media invite but it was a-ok in a way as we evaded the massive people that flowed inside the store
February 25, 2018 when we chose to drop by their shop in the fourth floor near the cinema 5 of Trinoma. With the help of their OIC and their high staff, we got the permission to take some pics of what we can see there and hopefully to check new info a week after.
Even after over a week just in the first 20 minutes that I had some pic sessions, people were mutliplied to hunt on their desired Mi item. Yours truly was really amazed by the number of items that you can buy there from phones, some smart home appliances, routers (how I wish Mi will also create an LTE router too), batteries, travel bags, backpacks, laptops, those large TVs and even their scooters
In the phone section, I noticed that all of their available handsets were there for demo except for some reason, the Mi A1 but there were stock as I seen in their counter section (I wonder why?). I also confirmed that as of time, they are not selling the Redmi Note 4X for now. A number of people were also looked for phone cases but I heard that they will try to provide it this March
In the few items that I tested, I love the sound quality of their Xiaomi headphones at around Php 1,600+ and as well their Xiaomi Basic earphones which is only at Php 220 (which is a-ok for the price as it did not have those flat cables). Before, I am planning to buy a Redmi Note 4 but good thing I did not pursue it as it did not pass for my camera quality sighting as well as lack of options in the pro mode (based on their demo unit there)
As confirmed, another store soon will rise in SM Megamall (which I hope that media invite will be our inbox when the time comes). I decided to buy their affordable 10-pc. AAA batteries at Php 110 (that's savings compared to the recently 4 pc. alkaline batteries that I bought a few days ago at Php 150) but they already ran out of stock. Still, I had a good time there at their Trinoma store and looking forward on their next one in Ortigas area
