The number of leaks were around few days before Valentines Day and coincidentally, Xiaomi announced their two new 18:9 phones in India earlier
First off is the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 still witjh Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor which already seen in the recent Redmi 4 series. The headliner though is the better 12 MP rear cam with 1.25 micron pixels with f/2.2 aperture which is better than the Redmi Note 4 at 1.12. To complete the specs, it has 5.99 inch FHD+ display with 2.5D glass and Gorilla Glass, 5 MP secondary camera with LED flash, fingerprint reader at the back, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS and 4,000 mAh battery. Prices are at 9,999 rupees (3 GB RAM + 32 GB ROM) and 11,999 (4 GB RAM + 64 GB ROM)
Next was a first globally as they unveiled Xiaomi Redmi Note Pro with better Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, dual 12 (with Sony IMX 486 sensor) + 5 (Samsung sensor for better depth capture) MP cameras with flash and EIS, 20 MP selfie cam with flash and Sony IMX 376 sensor, 5.99 inch FHD+ display, LTE, rear fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS and 4,000 mAh battery. If you take a closer look at the back, the dual rear camera looks inspired on the iPhone X.
For the prices, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro comes in 13,999 rupees (4 GB RAM + 64 GB ROM) and 16,999 rupees (6 GB RAM + 64 GB ROM)
