Canon Philippines started their ink-tank style printers via the Pixma G Series last year but for this year, they made four new models which I think are better this time in terms of pricing
They promised that the 2018 Canon Pixma G Series of Printers are capable of borderless photo printing with their spill resistant ink bottle design
First off is the most affordable in the line-up which is Canon Pixma G1010 with 445 x 330 x 135 mm in dimension, photo print speed of a minute, delivers up to 6,000 (b/w) and 7,000 (color) pages per bottle at Php 5,395
Next is Canon Pixma G2010 with the same qualities as to the G1010 but with 1.2 inch segment LCD panel and also do scanning and copying. SRP is at Php 7,595 with free Pixma Black Ink bottle
Another is Canon Pixma G3010 cam have more options to set-up including a wireless operation via WiFi and can support prints coming from a computer/lapttop or even from a smartphone via the Canon Print Service pug-in on Android OS. This is one has an SRP os Php 9,195
The high-end in the line-up, Canon Pixma G4010 can do driverless printing on phones and tablets running on Android OS, has 20-sheet Auto Document Feeder and supports AirPaint too. Price is at Php 12,995
All of the printers mentioned above will be available within February 2018. In addition, they also unveiled Canon Messaging in Print app which a print made from some Canon printers with their own photo printer can unlock a hidden message by having this mobile app which is only available for now for iOS devices. Another way to do a surprise especially for your loved ones. When I asked this to some Canon PH officials, they do not have a timeline yet on it's avaialability on Google Play
