Just a few moments after I had a first look, OPPO Philippines was quick to respond to give us a shot of OPPO A83
And here is the front of the box of OPPO A83 to start off our unpacking
I had the gold color at their official announcement, this time I had the black variant which can be said as a baby version of OPPO F5 Black. Even at Php 6,000 less, it is quite slick in terms of looks. I hope that they learned from some mistakes that they had from the provided protectuve cases of F5 and F5 Youth (which can easily give some scratches for some reasons) it had a brand new texture ala-micro diamond cut and no clear variant for now (not sure in the gold variant of A83)
Good thing, they still provided a 5V 2A charger plus the usual essentials like earphones, micro USB to USB cable, warranty papers and user manual. Just like in the demo unit last Friday night, the phone already has a pre-applied screen protector
Indeed, the Php 9,990 price tag (I thought at first personally as I told to one of OPPO Philippines officials as Php 10,990) is the driving force for me to hopefully finish this review that fast. For sure, there were some people who might cannot afford from any of the F5 devices for now and the OPPO A83 can possibly be the answer. Stay tuned for our review soon
