Freelancers are growing here in the country and part of your own responsiblities is to pay your tax and secure your future but what if either of these offices are quite far or you want more convenience?
Lukcy that I met some people behind Moneygment app at their head office in MakatiCity which is backed up by a company named Nessotech - a systems solutions provider and IT firm. It is led by their President and CEO Ma. Jessica Palmiano
Thru Moneygment app which you can download for free on Android phones (soon on iOS), you can check on how much you must pay for your taxes depending on your earnings and as well manage your SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-ibig countributions either as a freelancer or even if you are involved in a small company
In terms of the technical specifications, the app can run as old as to Android Kitkat and at least 1 GB RAM. Users can have three ways to create an account, via Facebok, GMail or simply signing in thru your email address that you like.
On the pros, I like the simplicity of the UI from the tax calculator and the number of available payment options thru bank, Dragonpay and even thru Paypal
On the cons, I did not like that much on the short time for verification process for first time sign-up users and mainly you have to put in first your other additional information before you can access the tax calculator which I addressed it to their officials if to compare to other solutions that you can find thru desktop, you can simpy do the computation without signing in.
As the exciting times though (as they are hoping to target this 3Q to 4Q 2018), that they open the four other services including insurance payments, applying for a loan, sending money and payment to known utilities like for water, cable and electricity just like you have a Bayad Center right on the app.
