We got the most affordable in their latest Flare S this 2017 for a few days. Here's our asssessment after. This is Cherry Mobile Flare S6 Review
As I had a previous experience with Flare S6 Selfie so I had no stranger with the Cherry Mobile Flare S6 with Cherry OS inside. Despite that it only has Mediatek MT6737 quad-core processor, the navigation and some light muti tasking on this device was fine to me for the given price. Like me and some who already bought it, I had some problems in Facebook app but good thing, I can adapt on browser-based social media browsing and thru Facebook Lite app.

In terms of connetivity, I had no problems in terms of calls, texts, WiFi, mobile data and OTG support. The GPS though is not that perfect but this was always one of the main problems of most budget Mediatek SoCs
I skipped on the benchmarks as I already have it in my first impressions blog post.
In terms of battery life with it's 2,600 mAh battery, it was battery efficient based on my video battery rundown test with 11 hours and 25 minutes. In real time usage, I can max it out in a day with mixed usage and 4 1/2 hours of screen on time.
Sound on 3.5 mm. audio jack is already good too. Unlike in Flare S6 Selfie, I am happy that I did not enocunter any problems regarding on FM radio reception
Unlike on Flare S6 Selfie, you will not be confused as you will only gonna expect one camera app. On rear camera, the output seems good already for the given price in outside enviroment but in artificial lighting, somehow it will bring a bit of inacurate in colors. Image processing time is average. The selfie camera is a-ok too as long as you are in a very good lighting environment. The selfie flash is good only if you are in a not-so-dark place. The bokeh effect though is a bit unreal

Compared to it's previous version, Cherry Mobile Flare S6 might be underpowered but we cannot blame them but at least they still managed to bring in the S6 at Php 1,500 cheaper than S5 but still has LTE, the basic needs of a phone and the bonus of a respectable selfie camera with flash. Some might be annoyed of the Cherry OS but as of writing, the brand is having a good problem that the demand was so high on both offline and online stores. I will gonna give Cherry Mobile Flare S6 a 4 out of 5
