Asus Zenfone Max Plus M1 PH Launch Highlights, First Look, Camera Samples

Even though they already mentioned the price, Asus Philippines still bring on the excitement inside the MOA Atrium as they officially announced their first Zenfone this 2018 in the country

Asus Zenfone Max Plus M1 which they tagged as their Battery King is now in the Philippines. Some of the highlight pics from the launch including their newest endorser Gerard Anderson

And here is some hands-on

Front: 5.7 inch FHD+ display, 8 MP secondary camera with f.2.0 aperture, on screen controls

Back: Dual 16 + 8 MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, Asus logo, fingerprint sensor, non removable back cover

Internals: 1.5 GHz Mediatek MT6750T octa-core processor with Mali-T860 MP2 GPU, ZenUI 4.0 based on Android 7.0 Nougat, 4 GB RAM, 32 GB ROM, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, 4,130 mAh non-removable battery, Face Unlock Technology, reverse charging support, 8.8 mm. thickness, 160 grams

The top part has 3.5 mm. audio jack while at the bottom has single firing speaker, mic that also looks like the speaker and micro USB port which has fast charging and OTG support

The left part has dual nano SIM and micro SD tray while at the right, you can locate the volume rocker and power/unlock button

The UI and the physical qualities seem familiar as you can easily compare it with the Zenfone 4 Max but with a taller display and that wow factor of having a 5.7 inch display in a typical 5.2 inch phone body

On the camera, the imaging processing was quite fast and the image quality seems ok based on the artificial lighting inside MOA
