It took us some delays mainly of that lack of available review units that can be borrowed but still thanks for those who are sticked in, here is the Cloudfone Excite Prime 2
Body and display: I warn you that there will be some comparison in between the first Excite Prime. In terms of it's physical looks, it is definitely an upgrade as you may see at at first as a high midrange device. The 2.5D Glass also helped a lot in the improvements department
Software: CEP2 like in their previous handsets used a ala-MyUI custom OS which is a-ok to me
Connectivity: Calls, texts, Bluetooth, WiFi. mobile data and OTG were a-ok except that there is some inaccuracy that I experienced in terms of GPS mostly for Pokemon Go, TNVS and Google Maps usage
Benchmarks: Before I got this review unit, I altready knew the potential numbers of this phablet based on it's Mediatek MT6737 quad-core processor coupled with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory. It is quite a bit disappointed that it only has 3-point multi touch
We skipped that much on gaming as this processor can only handle some basic games. In the most modest way to play Asphalt 8, you really need to set it to very low graphics for you to enjoy.
On battery life with 3,000 mAh battery, I wish it will be a bit more. Our video battery rundown test only gave us at 10 hours and 10 minutes. In real time usage, it gave me at almost a day with 4 hours of screen on time. I expected that will me at least 2 more hours on the said test and an extra hour for my usage
On camera, it does not have the extensive modes that you will see in other phones but the auto mode has done a good job in terms of output as well as the front flash, just do not use it on a very dark environment

Extras: If you will have another look or if you rememebered my review of the first Excite Prime, my number one complain on that phablet was charging slowly if you will gonna use either a third party charger or powerbank. Well, not on this one in a world that bringing in a power pack is a norm in case of emergency.
Over 5 months have passed and Cloudfone still stuck with the pricing of the Excite Prime 2 at Php 5,999 which adds up to one of my cons aside from the not-that-good battery life. For now, the device must be at around Php 4,999 as there are two more affordable options from another local brand that can go as less Php 2,000. Body, camera output, UI and connectivity (except GPS) were the strongest points of CEP2. I will gonna give it at 3.5 out of 5
