Before we attended this press launch, we were already aware of two of it's competitors (insert the letters L and T) but looks like this one will have a charm on us soon
As described, Mober is like your typical Uber service but for logistics. It means from your possible lipat bahay needs, to if you have a growing business but you still do not have enough capabilities to have your own vehicle or additional manpower to even bringing up your dog to another place, Mober is your choice.
Before we explain more on the app, they also introduced their first celebrity endorser Piolo Pascual as he also experienced some need for some lipat bahay services from his previous place to his current condo
Their price range come from van (starting at Php 750), mini truck (starting at Php 1,500) and truck starting at Php 3,000 ranging from either 4 to 6 wheeler. Their area of scope is one of the farthest if to compare to others as they can go within 100 km. from/to Metro Manila. To give you an idea, I had a test run from Muntinlupa and it can go as far as Tanauan, Batangas (around 44 kilometers) but as we dug deeper with one of Mober's co-founders Jade , the fare is just only for the entire service. Gas, toll or other charges are excluded
In terms of booking, you can book within the same day or even an advanced booking for as far as 15 days. So far, they can only accept cash and both their service and customer service channels are available from Monday-Sundays 7 am to 10pm.
In addition, the fare is only an estimate in case that you may go beyond their grace time in waiting (they mentioned that it is around 10-15 minutes, this may not be enough if you are loading a lot from a closed truck) as they may charge 10-15% of the total cost.
They are also inviting owners of vans or trucks that you may not use everyday and the same time, still wants to earn some money. They can go inquire at their website www.mober.delivery . Mober is free to download at Google Play and App Store
