After the iPhone X, the two other high-end smartphones from Apple were in my list for some hands-on. Big thanks to Smart Communications that they invited in the first day of selling of iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus thru their postpaid plans last November 17
These are the boxes of iPhone 8 in space gray and iPhone 8 Plus in Gold
Before our hands-on, one of fellow bloggers Gizguide had a chance to snap a pic with Smart's first ever iPhone 8 postpaid user named Kurt Nievera.
First, this is the iPhone 8 featured in all sides. Quite classic 4.7 inch iPhone but the inside of it definitely flies on performance with A11 Bionic chip just like in iPhone X
Then this is the iPhone 8 Plus which described it as gold but for me looks like it is a bit on the color flesh side. With the number of Android phones that handled with slim side bezels and with 18:9 display aspect ratio, there is quite a heft and bulk feel for me when I navigated this one on one hand
Unfortunately, I was not able to bring in some camera samples due to some Bluetooth problems but in terms of performance and display, both the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus werr very good to me. It is just a matter of size in your own opinino but in color, I love the one on iPhone 8
Getting one of those via postpaid? Smart Communications is offering iPhone 8 at Php 2499/month and iPhone 8 Plus for Php 2699/month for 24 month lock-in which both 12 GB of mobile data, 1 free app access monthly, unli all net texts, 70 minutes of calls to all networks and free 1 month Gadget Shield. If that is not alright or not enough for you, you can check out the table below
