Infinix Zero 5 First Look, Camera Samples

After it's launch, the curiosity ran wild once again for us for Infinix's newest - the Infinix Zero 5
For the hands-on, I chose the red version as there were rare smartphones in the country with this particular shade. For the specs, you may check it out from our previous article here

The 6 inch 16:9 display was bright and pretty good. The time widget reminds me a bit from some Xperia phones. The slim black linings on the display were visible but it's alright

Yeah, the back pretty reminds me of the letter H brand but the dual rear camera of Infinix Zero 5 has various functions to portrait mode and up to 8x zoom. The back finishing is between on the glossy and matte finish for me

Nothing to tell about the top portion as the bottom part is jampacked with speaker, 3.5 mm. audio jack and OTG-capable micro USB port

On the memory department, the OS and some of their pre-loaded apps ate around 15 GB out of it's 64 GB internal memory. In normal boot, I got around 4.8 GB out of 6 GB RAM remaining which is very good to me compared to some 6 GB RAM phones that I encountered

Here are some glimpses on the benchmark department. Good to know that the Zero 5 has 7 out of 9 working sensors

We're talking about Android Nougat and here it is, quite easy to do some multi-window mode! Their officials promised that Android 8.0 Oreo OTA is coming soon. From their previous moves since I had once the Infinix Note 2 as a daily driver, they were pretty good in sending in those software updates

Zero 5 was the first one in the country to sport the custom XOS 3.0. If you are already into XOS, all of your fave gestures and enhancements were there (I love their freezer app). Compared to the Infinix S2 Pro, the camera this time. Because of the dual main camera system, the modes became bigger. The pro mode is quite promising too ranginjg from 1/5000 to 6 sec in shutter speed, up to 3200 ISO and others. The portrait mode works fine as long as you will shoot the subject in a proper distance. In front camera, the bokeh mode can be improved and shooting a we-fie is not recommended.  Auto mode on both cameras have f/2.0 aperture.
