Huawei Nova 2i was our only mission from it's Philippine launch last weekend but I never expected that we will had a chance to put our hands-on on this particular Android phone from the Chinese brand that will never be available in Philippine shores
This is the upcoming Huawei Mate 10 Pro which is their first high-end smartphone with 18:9 display aspect ratio in FHD+ display. I like their design stripe on the back with their dual main camera system still co-engineered by Leica, flash and fingerprint reader. It was still covered by plastic so I was not able to determine for it's possible case of fingerprint smudges
Unfortunately due to some circumstances, I lost my own pic with the front view so here with some credits to my fellow tech site GizGuide That small top and bottom bezels that they still managed to put in the Huawei branding there. From my own James Yap-like size hand, one hand navigation is quite possible.
The top has noise-cancelling mic and looks like an IR blaster while at the bottom, yes the sad part of having no 3.5 mm audio jack with it's single speaker and microphone. That USB Type C port is capable for Huawei's SuperCharge and also their own version of PC mode.
The left has dual nano SIM tray (as this variant does not have micro SD slot) while the opposite side has power/unlock button and volume rocker. That thin factor is such a beauty
The overall aesthetics is quite on it's flagship beauty plus the weight is also quite light for a phablet with 6 inch display. For sure that it will gonna be in the Philippines but instead, we will have the Huawei Mate 10 soon this November 20-17 based on their recent global launch announcement. Special thanks to Manila Bulletin Tech News people for this short yet sweet experience of Huawei Mate 10 Pro
