After the Cherry Mobile Flare S6 series announcement, it's time for the roll-out my first check on the country's most affordable MT6737-powered smartphone so far
Here is the Cherry Mobile Flare S6. You may check the rest of it's specs here. The front part has the selfie camera, LED notification, capacitive home button and Android buttons and 5.2 inch HD display. The back has it's rear camera camera, fingerprint reader, Cherry Mobile logo and removable back cover in matte finish. The display is quite good. Underneath in that back cover is dual SIM and micro SIM slot
At first it might be difficult to distinguish but let me help you. The left part has dual SIM and micro SD in one tray while at the right, it has power/unlock button and volume buttons
At the top, it has 3.5 mm. audio jack while at the bottom, the single speaker, pin hole microphone which also looks like it and USB Type C port. One Cherry Mobile official claimed that it has OTG support.
At this phone, you will gonna see a glimpse of their Cherry OS which they also introduced on the side (more of it soon in a separate article). Based on it's RAM actions, the custom UI looks light and the pulldown menu can be customized from your own liking. Somehow, the UI reminds me a bit from XOS. Impressive that the phone only consumed 1.1 GB out of 16 GB internal storage. More apps to fill in. If you are asking for sensors, it has accelerometer, light and proximity.
The camera UI with photo, bokeh, facecute and video options. On the bokeh mode, the adjustment is thru a line with measurements of thru f/1.0 to f/16. For the sample that you will gonna see below, I used f/2.8 which looked fine at was properly registered when I checked it on Windows PC plus I love that they include a Flare S6 watermark. Normal rear (has f/2.8) and selfie camera (has f/2.2 shots are quite fast in image processing time while on bokeh,, it will take you for less than 2 seconds

Cherry Mobile Flare S6 will be available for Php 3,999 but no official info yet on it's release date. So far, it was pretty solid for the price from some of the featured that I uncovered but let's see on the processor work when I have a chance to use it as a daily driver for a possible review.
