Moto Z2 Play was the star in their recent Philippine launch but they also have some of their value smartphones in the sideline that needs some attention including this one from Moto Philippines
Meet The Moto C Plus. In case you missed the specs, Moto C Plus has Android 7.0 Nougat, 1.3 GHz Mediatek MT6737 quad-core processor, LTE, hyrbid nano SIM, 5 inch TFT HD display, 8 MP main camera with flash, 2 MP front cam also with flash, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB ROM, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi, GPS, FM radio and huge 4,000 mAh removable Li-Po battery
Here are the other views of the Moto C Plus.
I am happy that despite that it has removable 4,000 mAh battery inside (yes it is user-replaceable), the weight and feel on my hand looks like I am only holding a phone with around 2,500 mAh battery. The body does not look cheap for the given SRP.
I also checked the UI. Like in previous Moto Android phones, the lightly customized Android Nougat is evident from the feel to navigation to the RAM usage as I checked that it is still has 1.2 GB out of 2 GB RAM remaining.
On the camera, the 8 MP main camera has f/2.2 aperture and f/2.8 on the 2 MP front cam. I am impressed by the front cam given that it can match up with other 5 MP cameras from a number of smartphones right now at below Php 6,000. Image processing time is a-ok for the given processor. Colors are accurate too

For the past few months, there are good number of international Android smartphones that are available in the market under 6K but the Php 6,299 SRP of Moto C Plus is a good excuse to me for additional 300 or 400 pesos given that you are getting of between 1,000-1,500 mAh more battery plus it is also removable plus the UI, weight and build quality.
