The one and only HTC Philippines media event that I attended in the country was way back in April 2011 in the old Hotel Intercontinental. They had an exit to the local tech scene and earlier, they unveiled the four HTC smartphones that will shape up their presence in the Philippine market

And their high-end smartphone offering, HTC U11 which is popular to it's unique squeeze gesture and having the highest ranking on DXOMark. The announcement was made earlier in a small media gathering in The Peninsula Hotel. The products for now will be selling thru Lazada Philippines but their presence in offline channels is coming on it's way
