ABS-CBN just reported their newest financial report for the first half of the year which they gained that much from their number of investments that they did as well as their subsidiaries but the one that took my attention was from their very own DTV solution, ABS-CBN TV Plus
Compared to their previous report almost a year ago with 2 million units, they were happy that the numbers went up to 3.2 million units sold. One of the factors that I am seeing is their new pricing fron Php 1,999 to Php 1,499 with their exclusive channels as another force that they are showinng compared to other DTV box counterparts.
No surprise that two of their 4 exclusive channels are now on the TV ratings game with Cinemo (a channel that presenting local movies and reruns of some shows) at 2% and Yey (their free-to-air kids only channel) at 1%
