In just it''s second year, ASUS Philippines is spreading their dominance in the PC gaming segment via their Republic of Gamers (ROG) line with their recent Philippine Finals of Asus ROG Masters 2017 set at the Cyberzone area of SM North EDSA Annex
Before I attended this one, I was still on a high at the Asus Zenfone 4 Series Philippine launch last Saturday as I was able to attend to the last 6 hours of the event yesterday but it did not left me behind as there are some ROG-related gaming booths for the delight of ROG fans with some various games. I also saw their slim gaming laptop ROG Zephyrus but I was not able to do a lil hands-on
The weekend event was not complete with the presence of top execs from Asus Philippines led by it's Country Manager Mr. George Su as the ROG line is still no.1 in the country in their latest sales stat report from January to July 2017 of around 50,000+ gaming laptops sold.
2017 will become a more memorable year in the Philippine MOBA scene as Asus PH announced that the Asia Pacific Finals of Asus ROG Masters will held here in the country this October 2017 but no details yet on the date and the venue (for sure it will be somewhere in Metro Manila). Guaranteed that a US$500,000 prize money is on stake
Two AAA+ games were at showcase as CS:GO Finals went to Team Mineski with Php 75,000 prize money and on a grueling best-of-3 finals of DOTA 2 that ended at already past 10 pm, Team Excecration went past Entity Gaming and went home with Php 125,000
