For sure, two of the most commonly used functions of this phone will be SMS messaging (which I had no problems on typing and the keypad itself is comfortable and good quality) and radio which can receive good signals. It can also do recording but I advise you not as it will save as .wav file which is much bigger than the typical .mp3 format.
I was also able to remove the back cover and see on the placing of SIM cards and micro SD. It's confirmed that it has 1,200 mAh removable battery
