One of the official Cloudfone execs already gave us a hint of the first NBA-licensed smartphone in SEA which I had a first look a few months ago but at that time, there were no clear details yet until they revealed it recently.
Cloudfone had an unpacking session of their latest Cloudfone NBA Edition a few days ago in their Facebook page. On the box, it gave us an additional info that it has 5V 2A travel charger which is a must for that phablet with 4,000 mAh battery.
Like what I said in the title, they brought in the key details of the freebies when you buy it. It will have a free NBA jersey, Fitness First card, 10% off on select in-store items at NBA Store and 10% off on Skinny Mikes sports-oriented resto in BGC (the one in front of Globe Tower). That brought me some questions like the end of promo date and the minimum and maximum purchase for the discounts of those establishments mentioned. Expect an update on this blog post once we have the answers from Cloudfone people.
Another is the confusing pricing if it is Php 5,999 or Php 8,999. The phablet is already rolling in physical stores and Cloudfone NBA Edition's official SRP is Php 8,999
