Right after it's recentlaunch in the Philippines, this blog was fortunate to be one of the first in the local tech scene to uncover it - the new Vivo V5s
Here are the front and back views of the box of Vivo V5s with those colors of crown gold or rose gold. I wonder what's inside. The noticeable things here are the 20MP selfie camera with softlight and the bigger 4 GB RAM/64 GB ROM combo if to compare on the Vivo V5
I got the crown gold version. When you have a look at the back, the placing of antenna lines at the top and bottom parts (like a U-shape) almost made it seamless. The Vivo branding is a bit embossed and almost no camera bump. The fingerprint reader/home button is capacitive yet I have to verify later on our verdict on how good it is. Like in the previous models, they already put a screen guard on the display.
Nothing at the top as the bottom part is jampacked with the 3.5 mm. audio jack, pin hole microphone, OTG-capable micro USB and speaker.
The left part has the hybrid dual SIM tray (either micro SIM on SIM 1 and 1 micro SD or 1 micro, 1 nano) while at the right, volume rocker and power/unlock button
The box also includes the user manual, good TPU-based protective case, SIM ejector pin, micro USB to USB cord, earphones and the travel charger with 5V 1.6A output (when I found out that it has Mediatek MT6750 octa-core SoC, I am pretty expecting it with a 5V 1A set-up but hey, expecting it to be a bit faster in terms of power top-up)
The build quality of Vivo V5s is the same as to the 3 Vivo V5-ish phones that I reviewed so far. Some may complain that it only has an HD display but it is still good on the first few minutes that I navigated this phablet. Expect to have the Vivo V5s review soon on this blog.
Vivo V5s is now available in the country for Php 14,990
