A few das after it's official release, I was able to do it's hands-on of one of Cherry Mobile's first batcch of smartphones with dual rear camera system. Good thing, we will not gonna fool you as this is the real thing - here is the Cherry Mobile Flare P1
For this feature, I got the rose gold variant which is good enough for the asking price

I had limited time on playing on this device so I had to jump in the camera section which is kinda old school already for it's UI (reminds me the days of Android Kitkat). Good thing, both the 13 MP main camera and 5 MP selfie camera can do pics at 16:9 aspect ratio. On their dual camera system, it is more of a software thing as the said processor does not support the said set-up. The second main camera is to do a bokeh-like effect. In rival brands like on some Huawei and Vivo phones, you can adjust it by aperture but in the case of Flare P1, you have to rely both on what you can see on the display and on the lining which for me, it worked best when I adjusted it to 75% of the line. The rear cam has a bit not that accurate in terms of color accuracy but still presentable as well as the front cam. Both the rear and bokeh pics can do at f/2.2 aperture while it's f/2.8 for my selfie sample

The build quality of Cherry Mobile Flare P1 is a-ok for me and I love the rounded sides and the placement of audio jack and micro USB port at the top. The price is good too if you mind the additional camera and the Nougat OS but it will be a tough sell for other phones with this specs that you can find for a thousand peso less off the SRP of Cherry Mobile Flare P1 which is selling for Php 3,999
Special thanks to Cherry Mobile dealer JP Tomarong for the opportunity to do some hands-on of the Cherry Mobile Flare P1 (buy at his shops either in 2nd floor Empire Center, Pasay City [just look for the store with Cherry Mobile logo] or in his store in Victory Mall Baclaran or for more convenience, he accepts nationwide orders with free delivery and COD option by searching "jptomarongent" on Shopee app
