The last Xiaomi event that we attended was for their Mi 4i with a collab with a telco in late 2015. After we never saw any updates from them from either offline or online. From this discovery, looks like the Chinese tech brand might have a return to the country soon.
Based on this picture from Sammy Duran, he spotted this yet-to-be-opened Mi store in SM North EDSA and it indicated that it will open this August 2017.
As of this time, we are still seeing Xiaomi devices on sale via Lazada and other known third-party resellers online. If this will be a reality, we are still do not have clues on what they will gonna bring to the Philippine soil on that said timeline.
