I caught a teaser of it at their Satchmi Vinyl Day in Bonifacio High Street last late 2015. After over a year, Satchmi just put in their second branch somewhere in Quezon City.
Satchmi opened their doors to the hip UP Town Center last March 2016 in a soft opening status. I dropped by last week and with the help of one of their Marketing Manager Ms. Reena, I uncovered more on what could be the difference/s over their debut store in Mega Fashion Hall
No more waiting for it's official opening as it is now fully operational. As expected, the floor area is bigger compared to in their Mega branch. Two noticeable sections are the dining area (if you need to answer that call for some coffee or have a bite of their pastas and sandwiches plus more) and the listening room in case you need to test the vinyl player that you acquired or one of their vast number of vinyl records from local to international artists.
Definitely, the Katip and the rest of QC crowd will be the "suki" of their sophomore venture. As I already dined for a number of times at their Mega branch, I tried something for my lunch which is their cold mocha drink (I had 2 more meetings so I need a mix of pleasure and caffeine at that time) and I got curious at their brined and fried chicken sandwich (I forgot the exact name) but it has a light kick of spice and some veggies. Definitely, I love this one over their Satchmi BLT.
Aside from the space, there are almost no differences in their food cakes and coffee menu from their line-up of brands of vinyl players and audio peripherals.
If I gonna drop by soon at UP Town, definitely this will be one of my go-to shops there if you are looking for those things that I mentioned. Satchmi UP Town Center is located at the ground floor of the Cinema building in UP Town Center. Like Satchmi on Facebook and follow @satchmiteam on Instagram for more updates
