Local smartphone brand Cherry Mobile is quite ready for their Summer G8away which is on their eighth year and no wonder that as a part of their celebration is a new batch of smartphones to watch out.
Spotted in a retailer from the guys of Yugatech was the new Cherry Mobile Desire R series which consists of Cherry Mobile Desire R7, Cherry Desire R7 Plus and Cherry Mobile Desire R8
All of these phablets have 5.5 inch display, 700 MHz LTE support and Android 7.0 Nougat. Both the R7 have HD display while on the R8, they put in Full HD display
For the rest of the specs, Cherry Mobile Desire R7 has 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, 13 MP rear cam with LED flash, 8 MP front cam, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB ROM, LTE, dual SIM (micro + nano), micro SD slot, Bluetooth , WiFi and GPS for Php 4,999
Cherry Mobile Desire R7 Plus has 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, 13 MP main cam with LED flash, 8 MP secondary cam, 3 GB RAM, 16 GB ROM, LTE, dual SIM (micro + nano), micro SD slot, Bluetooth , WiFi and GPS for Php 5,999
On both the R7 and R7 Plus, not sure if that circular part is the fingerprint reader.
To complete the cast, Cherry Mobile Desire R8 has 1.5 GHz Mediatek MT6750T octa-core processor, 13 and 5 MP dual rear cam with LED flash, 8 MP front cam, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB ROM, LTE, dual SIM (micro + nano), micro SD slot, USB Type C, Bluetooth , WiFi and GPS plus fingerprint scanner and 3,000 mAh battery for Php 9,999
As of this time, no official words yet on the release date/s of these new Cherry Mobile phablets
