OPPO F3 Plus in Black, Launch Highlights, Other Info & What Happened To OPPO F3?

You may already saw our first impressions of it but here are some tidbits that we saw from the recently concluded Philippine launch of OPPO F3 Plus.

First off, OPPO's current standing in the smartphone wars. OPPO PH Brand Marketing Manager Mr. Stephen Cheng presented that the brand is now No. 1 in China acccording to IDC, No. 2 in India and Southeast Asia according to GFK. They are also solidified their No. 2 spot in the Philippines (from their first reveal during the OPPO F1s launch last August 2016) by posting month-by-month increase in the market share

From their presentation, they really giving importance on the upgrades from the dual front camera and back camera with Sony IMX 398 sensor. Due to my limited time to check the F3 Plus,  I also found out that you can also do some bokeh effects in those selfies. On those six-string antenna lines, they said that those are 60% smaller than the old designs with as thin as 0.3 mm & has 98.3% mettalic ratio which gives 24% improvement when you are downloading via WiFi.

You already saw the price on our previous post at Php 23,990. Like in India, the Philippines will have the gold and black variants of OPPO F3 Plus. For now, the gold will be the one available for pre-order

Speaking of pre-order, Lazada Philippines CEO Inanc Balci announced that there will be a pre-order promo right now until March 31 on the said online shopping site and app for the F3 Plus and get a free Bluetooth headphone and selfie stick with Php 2,000 worth of value. In addition, OPPO PH stores are also accepting pre-order exactly on the same date bracket

Php 23,990 is kinda heavy to you? No problem as you can get via installment on VISA and MasterCard holders for Php 2,000/month for 12 months and Home Credit at 9 months installment with 0% interest (monthly installment will start from Php 1,371)

Here is the pic from all of OPPO Philippines officials and key people who are part of the success of OPPO F3 Plus Philippines launch

Their one of their endorsers Alden Richards was also there for the festivities as well as their key celeb influencers.

Most of the early pics of OPPO F3 Plus are in Gold but OPPO PH Brand Marketing Manager Mr. Stephen happily gave us a chance to take those pics of the front and back views of OPPO F3 Plus in black which will be available soon. The 6-string antenna lines are definitely less visible in this one and this is the first black phone in the OPPO F Series so far in the country.

So from the leaked ad that we posted last March 4 to the latest one that we saw on SM Megamall featuring Sarah Geronimo, there is now show on OPPO F3. When we asked this to Ms. Jane Wan of OPPO Philippines, she said that OPPO F3 will also gonna arrive in the country soon.

Two updates as of March 25, 2017: The PR firm representing OPPO Philippines gave this blog an update that OPPO Philippines is still finalizing their postpaid plan for Globe Telecom. Just like in India, one of OPPO PH officials confirmed that the OPPO F3 Plus for the Philippine market does have band 28 aka 700 MHz LTE support
