Energizer Hardcase Energy S550+ VR Quick Look, Benchmarks, Camera Samples

More Energizer Hardcase smartphones on your way. It is the only Android handset that they are campaigning it so far with virual reality (VR) capabilities. Here is the Energizer Hardcase Ultraslim Energy S550+ VR

Front: 8 MP secondary camera with flash, 5.5 inch IPS HD display, Android capacitive buttons
Back: 20 MP rear camera with flash, Energizer Hardcase branding, plastic-like non-removable back cover
Internals: 1.3 GHz Mediatek MT6753 octa-core processor, Android 6.0 Marshmallow, 1 GB RAM, 4 GB ROM, LTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, 3,000 mAh built-in battery

At the left, you can see the dedicated micro SD tray. The right has dual SIM tray, volume rocker and power/unlock button

The top has 3.5 mm. audio jack while at the bottom, you can see the OTG-capable micro USB port. I love the simple side trimmings of this device.

I will gonna skip on the UI itself just like what I said in my previous Facebook live of those Energizer Hardcase phones, most of them have the same near stock Android UI inside.

On the benchmarks, it had the usual Antutu numbers for the said processor at over 38,000. It has 5 point multi touch and it has 7 out of  9 working sensors especially gyro

On the camera department, I had those samples in and it has the same, simple UI just like in the old Android Kitkat days. The 20 MP main cam (although in the contrary that MT6753 only supports the max. of 16 MP) is good enough on the average side and it has f/2.0 aperture. Selfies can give you at f/2.8 aperture. This time, both advertised camera megapixels can shoot only at 4:3 aspect ratio

Energizer Hardcase Energy S550+ VR will be available soon for Php 11,010
