I am happy that I managed to borrow a review unit from the guys of OPPO Philippines on their first smartphone offering this 2017 and I consider as a might-be alternative if the price of OPPO F1s is not enough for your budget.
Here is the OPPO A39 with it's front and back views. Quite curious that they used "unstoppable selfies" on it's tagline
Front: 5 MP secondary camera with Beautify 4.0, 5.2 inch IPS TFT HD display with Gorilla Glass 4, capacitive buttons
Back: 13 MP main camera with LED flash, OPPO branding, non-removable back cover
Internals: 1.5 GHz Meditek MT6750 octa-core processor, ColorOS 3.0 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB ROM, LTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS and 2,900 mAh built-in battery
Compared to OPPO F1s and OPPO F1 Plus, it has a bit thicker body which is a-ok for a smaller 5.2 inch display and 2,900 mAh battert. The left has volume buttons and the other side has dual nano SIM and micro SD tray plus power/unlock button. Unlike on F1s, the phone does not have a fingerprint reader
The bottom of the phone has the 3.5 mm. audio jack, OTG capable micro USB port and single speaker.
The box still has some pretty good number of items like earphones, micro USB to USB port, user manual, high-quality silicon case and travel charger with 5V 1A output.
Even for Php 10,990 price tag, the OPPO A39 still has some good looks. There's a bit of color quality on it's display compared to the F1s. One concern that I am seeing so far is the quite low charging output in today's standards.
Watch out for my review of OPPO A39 soon.
