A sad news just happened earlier this morning in the local tech scene as a popular online-based tech store raided by the authorities mainly of smuggled goods
The warehouse of Kimstore raided at Lakandula St. Tondo Manila by Bureau of Customs. According to BOC Spokesperson Neil Anthony Estrella, they got a report on smuggled imported gadgets from the said warehouse.
From these photos thru Twitter of DZMM reporter Dennis Datu and a report from RMN News, the confiscated goods are at around Php 6 million pesos which include iPhone 7, Macbook, Samsung phones and various items. The owner was from a certain alias Francis, a Filipino-Chinese
A warrant of seizure and detention was released by BOC Commisioner Nicanor Faeldon
