It was a fun time for when food meets tech in a coverage and that's what Foodpanda had brought me in 3 interested dessert-related places that you can find inside Alabang Town Center.
In the said mall was the next stop of Foodpanda's Good Food Tour Philippines. The first stop was one of the names that I usually saw in a number of media coverages that I had when the food is served - Bizu.
In time for Valentines month, they are serving the 3 heart-shaped cakes with distinct taste. In that order first was Pleasure which has seductive layer of pistacho ganache, chocolate bavaroise with a chocolate biscuit, milk chocolate disc, raspberry compote and rose perfume. It is priced at Php 270 (personal) Ph 1,235 (Midi) . Second was Romance with tempting layers of dark chocolate ganache, super moist cake, creme brulee, caramel and fresh strawberries. Priced at Php 345 (Personal) and Php 1,510 (Midi). The last on the list was Fresh Strawberry Chiboust which is heart shaped classic French style cheesecake topped with seasoned strawberries. Prices at Php 275 (Personal) and Php 1,050 (Midi)
My pick for me was the Romance mainly as I discovered that the combination of creme brulee and dark chocolate will be this good. For sure, this cake is a good buy for your loved one on Valentine's Day.
Next stop is the already well known Cold Stone Creamery located at Corte de las Palmas area. It was a dream come true for southies as they no longer need to go the nearest one at BGC.
The store crew even gave us some entertainment as a welcome treat to us bloggers. They even had a tradition which they gave away ice cream to some participants by throwing a sccop and must need to catch via a cup
In statement, their training manager Rebecca Fernandez said "We always emphasize customer service at the top and because we value our customers so much, we want to give them something that they'l never forget, a fun experience at Cold Stone".
I asked them on what's their latest on them and it was the signature cream collection which is a combination of select ice cream and toppings. Their best seller on the 12 options is the chocolate devotion
Chocolate Devotion was truly chocalatey and thick with milk chocolate ice cream and lots of chocolate chip cookies and definitely a thumbs up for me. For the prices, it is available at Php 199 (6 oz.) and Php 229 (for 8 oz). You can additional cone for Php 35.
Last stop for us was the Japan-inspired crepes and more from Paper Moon located at the newly-built ATC Corporate Center
The said food place was known by their signature mille crepe by Madame Emy Wada
Aside from the original variant, you can also choose from a number of versions of their mille crepe from Chocalate, Mango, Matcha, Ube and Quezo Real priced at Php 225 per slice and the 10 inch whole one at Php 2,000. The choco checkered cake goes for Php 250 per slice and Php 2,000 per whole slice. They also served a number of cold drinks like lemonade and fruit lemonade options like orange grapefruit and calamansi at Php 150. They also have hot and coffee based drinks ranging from Php 125-Php 150 and frozen blended drinks at Php 170
On the above pic was their huge red velvet cake with some chocolate on the bottom layer and cream to complete it. I only had a half of slice it and it really made me full but obviously, it is delicious. On the mille crepes, I chose the matcha mille crepe and the ube crepe. The Mocha Jelly Frozen Blended drink though for me was more on the coffee side which I hope they will do some trick. I definitely gonna back for more of them with their mille crepes.
Good to know that Foodpanda app had a huge revamp in terms of their UI which is easier to navigate and no more service charges as you only need to pay Php 59 for the delivery charge. Compared to my last order to them a few months ago, they had a lot more food places and restos to choose including Jollibee.
