Last February 8, Epson Philippines showcased their latest and upcoming products to watch out in their Epson Solutions & Technlogy Convention 2017 held at Marco Polo Hotel in Ortigas
Aside from media, their partners were also there in the said event.
They add some spice in their exhibit by dividing their list on products based on a typical company set-up. There's the IT, marketing, logistics and other support departments.
First few things that they mentioned are more on software, the Epson Device Admin which can control those wireless-connected Epson printers (which can run from Windows 7 OS computers and up but they recommend the Windows Server 2008-2012 OS for free) and the Epson Print Admin which there is a one-time license fee of less than Php 10,000. I also spotted some new Epson products like the WF-R8591 printer which has their new pigment ink pouches tht can print up to 75,000 pages in one go and the upcoming Epson DS-530 scanner which will be available this April
Announced globally recently, they also brought in the 2nd gen of Epson Moverio BT-300 Augmented Reality Smart Glasses which for me is still experimental as it only has Android ICS and less than 1 GB RAM inside. There are pre-loaded AR games there like Surfboarding which your head movement will be the key for player moment.
They also have their new batches of Epson Label Printers which are smudge-free and cannot be erased even by some chemicals. Although they only used the 1st gen of Epson Moverio glasses, they had a unique solution which those wearables can support in reading those bar codes printed by the brand.
The last ones are the their high-end projectors which you can write on the projected screen by only your finger and can have up to 140-feet diagonally. Some that I spotted at the exhibit are the EB-595W1 and EB-696Ui models.
