Arsenal Devices had their media meet-up earlier in a cafe in San Juan City and the day will not be complete for this blog at least to check their current available device.
Here is the Arsenal VR One
Front: 5.2 inch LTPS JDI Full HD display with 2.5D Glass & Gorilla Glass 3, 8 MP wide angle selfie camera with Ominivision sensor and f/2.4 aperture, fingerprint reader/home button at the front
Back: 13 MP AF main camera with Samsung sensor & f/2.2 aperture, Arsenal and VR One markings, non-removable back cover
Internals: 1.3 GHz Mediatek MT6753 octa-core processor, Android 6.0 Marshmallow, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB ROM, 2,800 mAh battery
Based on my own judgment, the form factor and overall feel reminds me of a mix of Nokia 6 and Huawei P9 but a bit thinner
At the left comes with the hybrid dual SIM (1 nano SIM + 1 micro SD or 2 SIM cards). The right side has the volume rocker and power/unlock button
The top has the 3.5 mm. audio jack. The bottom has a speaker, pin hole mic and micro USB port
The near stock Android 6.0 Marshallow was present on the Arsenal VR One and it was efficient for it's 3 GB RAM when I checked it, it gave me at around 1.8 GB RAM remaining after I refreshed the device.
Glimpse of what it's like to multitask as well as the phone and messaging apps. The phone offers 3G and 4G only mobile data speeds which I prefer.
On benchmarks, it scored at over 37,000 on Antutu, has 10 point multi touch, packed 7 out of 9 working sensors and the internal storage was supplied from Samsung
The camera UI though is kinda old school already as I already saw this from a number of local phone brands from years ago. The positive thing though is it can shoot quickly and has fast imaging processing speed. The main camera has f/2.2 aperture and the secondary cam has f/2.4
