We had a glimpse for it's prototype and now we will gonna have a proper check to it's final unit. Here is the Super D D1 3D capable phone
These are the front and back views of the box which is no stranger for me already. Flat and squarish which I also saw some from the devices of MyPhone - the distributor of Super D phones
Front: 5 MP primary front camera for selfies with f/2.2 aperture. secondary front camera for 3D movie viewing (which has magic as you don't need to have 3D glasses), 5.5 inch IPS Full HD display with 2.5D Glass and Gorilla Glass protection, capacitive controls
Back: 13 MP AF main camera with Samsung sensor and flash, fingerprint reader, Super D logo, non removable cover
Internals: Android 6.0 Marshmallow, Mediatek MT6750T octa-core processor with Mali T860 MP2 GPU, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB ROM, LTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, 3,000 mAh built-in battery
For this hands-on , I got the Galaxy Silver variant. You can easily notice the black bezels on the display.
At left you can see the hybrid dual nano SIM tray (or SIM 1 as nano SIM, SIM 2 can be used for micro SD). At the right, you can check the volume rockers and power/unlock button.
3.5 mm. audio jack at the top, micro USB and pin hole mic at the bottom
I did not have a chance for a proper unboxing but at least I saw that there is a sim ejector pin, the usual user manuals and this travel charger which it has 5V 2A output which will be at least charge this phablet in moderate speed.
The custom UI of Super D D1 reminds me of as to iPhone with it's squarish app icons and the control center (when you swipe from bottom of the screen and up) to check the connectivity must-haves. Swipe down from the top of the display to see your notifications.
This multi tasking is also kinda iOS to me
A glimpse of it's phone and messaging apps. Out of 32 GB ROM, you will gonna get less than 20 GB for app storage.
On benchmarks, it has MT6750T octa-core processor which is different from those two known selfie phones so I expected that it will score higher at over 46,000 on Antutu. The phablet has 7 working sensors as highlighted in the sensor box. It has 5 point multi touch.
I got some camera samples too. Both shooters have f/2.2 aperture based on my check. The main camera is average for me in terms of overall output. The main camera has pro modes but it lacks some controls like the shutter speed. The selfie camera has HDR and beauty modes but for these pics, I shot it both in auto mode. Selfie camera output for me is good enough.

In addition, the build quality and the ability to watch 3D videos and movies without the user of glasses are the main strengths of this device. The overall usability is still a question that I will have to discover once I have the chance for a review unit of Super D D1 soon.
