Huawei P9 Lite Review

A few weeks ago, I had a chance to put up a review for the Huawei P9 Lite. I cannot give you the official unboxing pictures as it was not the official one when I got the review unit so I will gonna jump in to what I got.

UI:

Compared to my previous Huawei phone experience on GR5, it is quite faster with the help of Kirin 650 octa-core processor inside.

Display:

I had to look back on the specs sheet and I just realized that it has 5.2 inch IPS Full HD display which it looks only 4.7 inch for me in terms of gripping. You will never go wrong in terms of it's screen quality as I enjoyed this phone on viewing some offline videos and browsing

Connecitvity:

WiFi, calls, texts and Bluetooth had no problems in me but my biggest headache that I got was the poor mobile data reception. I even requested to replace another review unit but still no success on my part even that I used two different telcos during the test.

On benchmarks, I got the same numbers as to my first encounter with this device during the launch which you can see here

Gaming was a-ok upon checking a number like Dead Trigger 2 and Asphalt 8 on high settings

On random thing even after I got an update, still the P9 Lite does not support OTG support. The charging time took me almost 2.5 hours I had a pretty good sounding experience on the P9 Lite via the 3.5 mm. audio jack.

The camera UI almost has the same UI as to the more expensive Huawei P9 or P9 Plus. The camera output looks well and it is one of the best in terms of the same price range. Selfies is also a-ok too.

Huawei P9 Lite is a good buy for Php 12,490 in terms of user experience, battery life that can go for a day and nice camera performance even at low light. The downers for me are the connectivity issues (which is not so Huawei in terms of my previous Huawei devices) and the lack of OTG support so I will gonna give the P9 Lite at 3.75 out of 5.
