While the MyPhone Multimedia press launch is on a roll, I saw one unique smartphone from one of their partners which I saw in their MyPhone Transcendence by-invite event last month
Meet Super D (which they will help the brand on having those VR and AR tech available soon) with their prototype which has no name yet but the unique feature that it will bring to the table, 3D Cinema-like experience in a phablet.
Note that the UI that you will gonna see might change. The prototype has 5.5 inch IPS FHD display, Android 6.0, Mediatek MT6750T octa-core processor (do not forget the T as I will explain later) 13 MP rear camera, 8 MP front camera, fingerprint sensor, another camera at the front which is an eye-tracker to support your 3D cinema viewing plus 3 GB RAM, 32 GB ROM, LTE and 3,000 mAh built-in battery.
The top has 3.5 mm audio jack, the bottom has micro USB port and pin hole mic.
The left hand side has the hybird dual SIM tray (either 2 nano SIMs or 1 nano SIM and 1 micro SD card). The right hand side has volume rocker and power/unlock button
According to one of the exec of Super D, they chose the said processor to support the Full HD display plus it has stronger GPU clockspeed compared to the regular one. For the 3D-Cinema like video, you can use almost all of the common video formats like .mp4, etc and good thing, no need for 3D shdes or google for you to appreciate it. They clarified that they are not a smartphone brand. In addition, they already had it in China last September.
The pricing is still in discussion. One of MyPhone officials can't tell if we will gonna see this phablet this year or at least this 1st quarter of 2017. Of course, we are looking forward for a competitive price of this future device.
