This phone was the latest addition to the Moto Z family and it is only the currently 2nd available smartphone in the country powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processsor. This is my check on the Moto Z Play.
I skipped on the back as it pretty looks the same as the Moto Z so here are the other details.
Front: 5 MP selfie camera with LED flash, 5.5 inch FHD AMOLED display, fingerprint reader/home button
Back: 16 MP PDAF main camera with laser AF, f/2.0 and dual LED flash, 16 pin Moto Mods connector.
Top: SIM tray and micro SD slot (which I will have to verify if we have the dual SIM variant), noise cancelling mic
Bottom: USB Type C port and 3.5 mm. audio jack
Internals: (SoC already mentioned), Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, LTE, 3,510 mAh built-in battery.
Same on what I saw on the right section of the Moto Z, volume buttons and power/unlock button.
Purchase this device right now until October 23 in MemoXpress and Silicon branches in SM North EDSA, Megamall, MOA and the Moto Offiical Store at Lazada PH and get a free JBL Speaker Motomod

Obviously, I already felt that the Moto Z Play is thicker than the Moto Z but it is still pretty light for my liking. The build quality was never compromised. The stock Marshmallow is something to smile for the high midrange SoC inside but I am a bit worried on the SRP which you will see below.
This is not a flagship but still, it almost had no difference in terms of image processing speed and output compared to Moto Z. In the rear camera sample, I waited for those multi-color venue lights to capture.
