O+ continues to cash in the entry level phone smarrtphone with the recent reveal of O+ 8.98 thru their Instagram page.
O+ 8.98 has an unknown 1.2 GHz quad-core SoC, Android 5.1 Lollipop, 5 inch IPS display (no info yet on screen resolution), 5 MP main camera with flash, 2 MP front camera, dual SIM (micro and mini), 16 GB ROM, 3G, Bluetooth, WiFi, power saver feature and 1,800 mAh battery.
As of this time, they did not include the RAM in their official site listing. O+ 8.98 is priced at Php 3,395.
