A few months after we saw it at it's apperance in Cebit 2016 tech event, I got a chance to hold on a bit on the world's first smart action camera - Cherry Mobile Explorer 2 Smart Action Cam
The front has the 12 MP 170 degree wide angle lens and the Explorer 2 logo. The back has 2.4 inch display which is pretty clear enough to check and navigate as it has Android 5.1 Lollipop.
The top part has the shutter while at the bottom, there is a cover which has 1,050 mAh of battery inside.
The left part has the WiFi button while at the opposire side, you can check the OTG capable micro USB port (which is also the same port for charging)
This guy has Android so our benchmarks gave no exception to this one. The device has 1.3 GHz Mediatek MT6580 quad-core which scored a respectable less than 24,000 in Antutu. It has 2 point multi touch and the internal memory was supplied from Sandisk.
Sensors might be not so important. This stuff has really got some OTG capability which I am thinking if we can shoot videos which you can save and record straight from that micro USB thumbdrive.
One thing that I really gonna love to test this one is for Facebook Live as well as to a possible Youtube app broadcast and to Snapchat too. The physical looks does not look like cheap but the photo and video quality still have to check if we will gonna have shot. Thanks to Peter of gizguide.com that he gave a few minutes this one out. It is now available at Php 5,999
