After a few months, I went back to Lazada PH offiice to witness 3 new phones but for this post I will concentrate first on the Infinix Note 2
Front: 6 inch IPS HD display, 5 MP front cam with f/2.0
Back: 13 MP main cam with flash and f/2.0, Infinix logo, removable back cover, single speaker
Internals: 1.3 GHz Mediatek MT6753 octa-core processor, Android 6.0 Marshmallow, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB ROM, 4,040 mAh built-in battery.
3.5 mm. audio jack at the left, OTG capable micro USB port at the right.
Both the volume rocker and power/unlock button are located at the right section
It has a custom UI inside on this phone so no surprise for me that it does not have an app drawer.
There is a plenty of controls in the pulldown menu which I really like
Both cameras are at 16:9 aspect ratio so it is a plus for me. The pro mode has enough controls like white balance, filters and up to 10 seconds of shutter speed.
We also had some benchmarks. It has over 37,000 on Antutu, has 5 point multi touch, has 7 out of 9 sensors. Even though it has gyro, it is not working when I installed the Google Cardboard app. Internal memory was supplied from Samsung.
And the camera samples shot in a normal lighting in Lazada PH office

Extras: I love that it has 4G only option in connectivity options. When I tried to hot swap the sim card, it did not prompt me to reset the phone. I played Asphalt 8 in high settings and I almost not had no problems. I felt that I am only holding a 5.5 inch phone for its width and weight. For this first look, the lack of Google Cardboard support will be my biggest con so far.
Good news as contrary to the Lazada PH leak a few days ago, Infinix Note 2 will be priced at Php 5,990 exclusive to Lazada Philippines this June 29 at 12 noon
