I fnally got a chance to check on one of the latest DTVs from MyPhone. Here's my hands-on on the MyPhone My85
I saw 4 colors in the demo area. I picked up this white variant as I reminded one deisgn from HTC (not bad in my own opinion). The braille-inspired capacitive buttons is quite a refreshing take for me. The device looks presentable even at its Php 2999 price tag
Volume rocker and power/unlock buttons are located at the right section.
3.5 mm audio jack at the top, micro USB at the bottom. Quite sad that the device dos not have OTG capability.
Happy points for me that both 13 and 5 MP cameras can support 16:9 aspect ratio. The front camera has AF. This is one only one in the MyPhone DTV series line-up with Mediatek MT6580 quad-core processor. It gave us a score of 24, 410 .
You can see at the first frame of underneath the My85 as the micro SD is the only one which is hot swappable. It has plenty of app storage out of 8 GB ROM. The almost stock Android app drawer is present here. Not definitely like the My OS.
And the rear and front camera samples in that order in low light from MyPhone DTV series launch in Axon, Green Sun Hotel
For extras, the MyDigital TV signal can catch one seg DTV signal (good enough for mobile phones) plus you can able to record TV shows. MyPhone MY85 will be available this month for Php 2,999.
