It's the start for Huawei to go to Quad HD display as their sub-brand Honor has just announced their first phablet with very high screen display resolution in China.
Huawei Honor V8 has 2..5 GHz Kirin 950 octa-core SoC with Mali T880 GPU, 5.7 inch IPS QHD display, dual 12 MP main camera with Laser AF & LED flash, 8 MP front cam, EMUI 4.1 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, 4 GB RAM, 32 or 64 GB ROM, finger print reader, hybrid dual SIM, LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi, NFC, GPS with GLONASS, USB Type C and 3,500 mAh battery.
The international prices will be at US$384 and US$430 for the 32 and 64 GB ROM variants respectively.
