IOT Summit Philippines 2016 rundown

Held a few weeks ago, I got a chance to check another tech-related event in Megatrade Hall which I definitely did not miss.

IOT Summit 2016 was at their first this year. As said in the name of event, there are some booths that are quite related to IOT plus some tech stuff in the mix. A few of my picks at the event were TagCash which you can have cashless transactions via NFC in 3 ways, via a card, sticker which you can put in your phone case or even a bracelet.

Another one was the guys from Energyes which is a unique pair of glasses which protects you from blue light rays which is common in our smartphones, tablets or even laptops.

As I missed it in the Galaxy S7 PH launch, that was also the time that I got to play with the Samsung Gear VR. It was quite an amazing experience even that my cap was on my head. Other booths that made me curious were on drones and 3D printing.

On talks, I listened the most on Nokia and the upcoming 5G internet connection which in their tests, we can now see those internet speeds in Gbps, not only on Mbps.
