Torque Ego Tab S unboxing, first impressions

After you first saw here it's specs, the guys from Torque Philippines already gave this blog a chance to check out some of their tablets from their Ego series. I'll gonna start with the entry-level one in the said line-up.

Meet the Torque Ego Tab S and it's box (if I'll gonna flip it, you'll gonna see the same design). No specs printed.

Front: 7 inch WSVGA display, front camera
Back: Main camera, Torque logo, non-removable cover, speaker
Internals: Android 4.4 Kitkat, Rockchip single core processor, 512 MB RAM, 8 GB ROM, mAh battery.

Top: Power/unlock button, non CTIA compliant 3.5 mm. audio jack, micro USB port, volume rocker
Bottom: Nothing

The box also included the following: 2 ampere travel charger, micro USB to USB port, screen protector, user guide and warranty card.

First impresssions: The back cover is a bit on the matte and rubbery side. I love that they put in some curves on this side. One thing that concerns me is the single-core SoC which I'll have to find out on my review.

Watch out for my review of Torque Ego Tab S very soon.
