More and more midrange processors are coming for upcoming smartphones, thanks to this latest news that Qualcomm has brought recently thru their official website
First off, Snapdragon 625 has octa-core Cortex-A53 clocked at 2 GHz and has 14 nm process which I expect to be power efficient. This is a follow-up after the 650 and 652 SoCs. It supports 24 MP cameras, Cat. 7 LTE (with X9 modem), 1,900 x 1,200 at 60 fps or Full HD at 30 fps, WiFi ac and Quick Charge 3.0. It has Adreno 506 GPU inside
Then these two that are built on the quite old 28 nm process. Snapdragon 435 has 8 Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.4 GHz, Adreno 505 GPU and can support display up to Full HD at 60 fps and 21 MP cameras. It also has X8 Modem (Cat. 7 LTE), WiFi ac, and Quick Charge 3.0
The other one is Snapdragon 425 with 4 Cortex-A53 cores also clocked at 1.4 GHz, Adreno 308 GPU, 1280 x 800 display support at 60 fps, video capture at Full HD and 16 MP cameras.
