Chinese brand Gionee is also in the scene at the currently running MWC 2016 at Barcelona with their reveal of Gionee S8
The said phablet has 1.95 GHz Mediatek Helio P10 octa-core processor, 5.5 inch IPS FHD display with 3D touch, 2.5D glass and Gorilla Glass 4, 16 MP PDAF and laser AF rear cam with LED flash, 8 MP front camera, hybrid dual SIM, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB ROM, LTE, micro SD support up to 128 GB, DTS audio, fingerprint reader, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi and 3,000 mAh battery.
Gionee S8 will be available this end of March for US$494. Available colors will be gold, gray and rose gold.
