From my recent visit at the guys at Cloudfone and Cellprime, they give me a chance to check out the country's current smartphone with the biggest battery that you can avail. Here is Gionee Marathon M5.
Here is the box of Gionee Marathon M5 with key specs at the back.
Front: 5.5 inch HD AMOLED display with Gorila Glass 3, 5 MP front cam with f/2.2 aperture, standard Android buttons at the bottom
Back: 13 MP rear cam with f/2.0 aperture and flash, noise cancelling mic, Gionee logo, NTC and IMEI stickers (coz the cover is non-removable), single speaker
Internals: AmigoOS 3.1 based on Android 5.1 Lollpop, 1.3 GHz Mediatek MT6735 64-bit quad-core processor, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB ROM, huge 6,020 mAh non-removable battery
Top: 3.5 mm. audio jack, IR blaster
Bottom: Pin hole mic, OTG capable micro USB port
Left: dual micro SIM tray (both slots can do LTE)
Right: Micro SD tray, volume rocker, power/unlock button
Aside from the phone, the box also has a screen protector with wiper, SIM ejector pin (not in this picture), user guide, warranty guide, OTG cable, USB to micro USB cord and charger with 2 ampere charger
First impressions: It's my first time for this blog that I reviewed a phone with AMOLED display and it has a wow factor on me even that it is only on HD resolution. I'm happy that Gionee put an a true dual SIM function in this phone. As a teaser, the phone was fully charged at my hub at 3 hours which is superb out of 6,020 mAh battery. It is true that the phone has quick charging technology inside.
Watch out for my review of Gionee Marathon M5 soon.
