I saw this device as early as December 2015 at their office. At the recent media event, it was my first time to check the official release of Cloudfone Spotify Lite.
Front: 2 MP secondary cam, 4 inch WVGA display
Back: 5 MP rear cam with flash, Cloudfone logo, removable back cover
Internals: Android 5.1 Lollipop, Speadtrum SC7731 quad-core processor. dual SIM (1 regular, 1 micro), micro SD slot, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB ROM, 1,450 mAh removable battery
Volume rocker and power/unlock button are all on the right hand side.
Top: 3.5 mm. audio jack, micro USB port
Bottom: Pin hole mic and true dual speakers (as I checked it)
Here's a peek if you remove the back cover of the handset. The main camera can shoot FHD video. The camera looks like the typical Google Camera app. I also noticed that both shooters are set at 4:3 aspect ratio.
I managed to get the main camera's sample picture. Not bad at all
First impressions: Spotify app is pre loaded on this device so no problems for those who are into music thru that method. From the prototype to it's finished product, I'm a bit sad that the brand didn't follow the "unified storage" rule as you can get about over 2 GB of app storage out of 8 GB ROM. Form factor is also a-ok. One challenge for this handset if the bigger and better in spec sheet Cloudfone Thrill Lite will be also there in stores (the only advantage of CSL is 1 GB RAM).
Cloudfone Spotify Lite is now available in Cloudfone stores for Php 1,999 with free Spotify earphones
