Cloudfone and Cellprime just emailed me and some of my fellow tech bloggers to go their office to see of their devices that we might missed from their event last week. That opened a chance for me check some more of some of devices under the said parent company plus answered some inquiries from my dear readers.
After you an #RNTDFirst on detailed specs of Cloudfone Excite Prime, one Facebook user asked me if the display has OGS display and this pic was the answer. A bonus that Cloudfone had an exhibit like this when you gonna disassemble one of their upcoming octa-core phablets. They also revealed that the memory was supplied by Hynix and the 2,820 mAh battery is Li-Po.
On Thrill HD and Lite as they have the same UI and OS, I tried to uncover some of the puzzles way back from their launch. Yes, there is LED notification on both devices. Red for charging and neon green if you have a new SMS (or for other alerts). Another challenge for me is the unusual navigation of files if you'll gonna put in a USB thumb drive. Unfortunately, you cannot access the files on the USB direct even that I downloaded ES File Explorer. I hope I can discover a turnaround for this one
No surprise that both devices have the 32-bit version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow which can be connected to the 32-bit MT6580 quad-core SoC. Still, the curiosity is still high for me to review at least one of these budget smartphones from Cloudfone.
If you missed my first impressions of the 3 devices mentioned, you can check my previous posts.
