Satchmi is just one of the many shops of Mega Fashion Hall that I loved so far mainly coz of vinyls, vinyl players and coffee. Last September 26, it's time to celebrate their 1st birthday.
From MOA to Megamall, I had a good time to travel to the venue. I'm not sure if I am on time as I arrived at past 7 PM. As expected, it was a jampacked venue. I am also surprised that the shop invited some of my fellow media and bloggers (I only saw Agatha from Geekypinas). I went there not as a part of media.
The line-up of artists and performers in this order: the up and coming Coeli then a nice set by BP Valenzuela, a great comedy experience (esp. his stand-up joke on NBA being in Japanese) by Chip Balbuena of Comedy Cartel, soothing music by Reese and Vica nd CRWN.
Sir Edric, one of the co-owners of Satchmi (who's also part of tech brand Ekotek) had a speech of thank you and some things to look forward this 2016. In an AVP, there will be a new Satchmi store somewhere in Quezon City, one or two new Motorino vinyl player/s and another Satchmi compilation album which will be entitled as "General Assembly"
The shop also gave away some prizes with the help of the event's sponsors including a new Motorino vinyl player and Fresh Filter vinyl.
The overall musical experience was a treat for me. The only that I never experienced was the free food as the in-charge in the entrance didn't give me a stub to claim my food. I only managed to get in 2 pieces of tart. After the show had ended and I had a lil chit-chat with Sir Edric, I really had to run for something to eat. Better if there's no need for the food stub next time but I look forward for Satchmi's 2nd birthday next year.
