I took me a few months before I need to release on what I had observed coz of the side story that you'll gonna see in one of the paragraphs here. Here is my Cubix Cube review.

Physical looks:
Expected that I have a glossy black variant, I had finger print magnets of it's back cover. The back cover quality looks cheap which I have to consider the price. I love the thin factor which reminds me of one of my first Android phone, Cherry Mobile Omega HD
The phone and messaging apps are the same as you'll gonna expect in stock Android Kitkat. I got no problems in receiving and making calls as well as sending and receiving messages. I got no problems when I installed my fave 3rd party keyboard like Google Keyboard
Got no problems on 2 leading telcos using both SIM slots. If I'm not mistaken, this was Cosmic Technologies one of their first Android phones with 900 3G band which gave me a concern in one of the available telcos here. WiFi reception is also a-ok based on my usual uploading and downloading some stuff.
Out of 1.4 GHz Mediatek MT6592 octa-core processor, it got over 28,000 on Antutu and 10 point multi touch. The internal memory was from Samsung.
Camera:
These are the 13 MP rear camera samples I got mixed outputs. Sometimes I will go good or bad but something I really noticed which is a bit higher on saturation. The 5 MP front camera goes good.
Audio and video:
Compared to Cherry Mobile Infinix Pure, the ClearMotion technology on this device is a level higher on this one which works best on HD videos but sometimes if not executed properly, it make you dizzy sometimes which you have an option to turn it off. Display is good for my standards. Audio output is basic which is expected to this type of SoC.
Before this review, I downloaded the must-have 127 MB OTA update which will add up the important e-warranty update and some important Google-based apps. The OTA update gave me some good RAM management which I can only use a max. of 600 MB out of 2 GB with my usual social media apps, phone and messaging and browser. One thing that I kinda annoyed: sometimes it will have some lag which I never experienced on some of my phone reviews with the same SoC and half the RAM and ROM.
The battery life is poor for my standards especially that I had a number of phone reviews with the same size, SoC, display resolution and size and battery capacity. On my usual video battery rundown test, I only got 6 hours and 38 minutes from 100% to 1% is low compared to my previous ones which has a range between 8 to 8 and a half hours of battery life. As a daily driver, I only got a max. number of 14 hours which I really need a powerbank especially I have a 16,17 hours type of day.
Side story:
I had this review unit before the end of June. If you noticed at my first impressions blog post of this device, I had the 1.7 GHz Mediatek MT6592 variant instead of the 1.4 GHz one that is available commercially which I had a higher Antutu score. Sadly coz of some circumstances, it took almost 2 months before they granted my request to replace my review unit to the one with the correct clock speed. I thought that I only had an isolated case but upon checking some of the users at the Cubix Cube United Facebook group, they also had the same case based on the Antutu and CPU-Z screenshots that they shared. This is something to worry in part of the said company and to Lazada PH as well, the exclusive seller of this device. Of course, my lines are wide open for their side of this discovery.
