Acer is really bringing their tagline "Explore beyond limits" in real life as I am lucky to do some unboxing of their affordable Windows 8.1 Phone, the Acer Liquid M220
These are the front and back view of the box of Acer Liquid M220. The motif is no brainer to the brand's main color. I'm impressed for the overall packaging despite of it's low price.
The front has speaker for calls (which also acts as a loudspeaker for music), Acer logo, 4 inch WVGA display and 2 MP front camera. The back has 5 MP AF rear camera with flash and another Acer logo. The removable back cover has the same textile finish that you already saw in Acer Liquid Z520.
The resemblance of Liquid Z520 continues on this device as you can all locate the power/unlock button and volume rocker at the right section. The diamond-like lining also gives additional grip to the phone.
Good news that this device has CTIA-compliant 3.5 mm. audio jack and micro USB port at the top, pin hole mic and opening (for removing the back cover) at the bottom.
The box also included a 0.5 ampere USB charger, micro USB to USB cord, warranty card, instructional manual and earphones. I already put in the 1,300 mAh removable battery inside.
First impressions: This will be my 3rd time to review a Windows Phone and it has a better match-up over the Cherry Mobile Alpha Style. In comparing to that device, I loving this device coz of the Acer Liquid Z520 form factor, CTIA-compliant audio jack and it's quite thinner. Let's see on how can I maximize this smartphone in my day-to-day basis in my upcoming review.
Acer Liquid M220 is now available in Acer stores and authorized resellers for Phjp 2,490.
